HAPPY BIRTHDAY BABIES!!
Well at 1am this morning my cat decided to go into labour with her second litter and I got to watch the whole thing. It was probably the most amazing thing I have seen! I even got to hold them immediately after birth to make sure that they were ok. She had 5 all together and oh man the process and the length of time it takes to have kittens gives me a new outlook on labour. I mean seriously, she has no pain killers and let me tell you it took a good 3 hours for all the babies to be fully delivered, thats insane. My poor Cupcake. Oh and guess where she decided to give birth... under my couch. Yup she ripped apart the undercover of my couch and made herself a little dwelling. The only reason I knew she was giving birth was because I heard the smallest little meow ever! It was like my girls before born all over again, that first cry. I got to hear that from a kitten! Amazing! I wish I could keep them all! And it sucks that I am leaving for the long weekend of Thanksgiving.
